The En Pointe Ballet Academy is a specialist ballet school based at the Greasby Methodist Church, Wirral. This family friendly academy caters for students aged 2yrs to adult and aims to provide a high standard of classical ballet tuition, focusing on combining the enjoyment, expression and technique of ballet. 

 

Ballet classes help students to improve their creative skills, body awareness, self confidence and social skills. Pupils here have the opportunity to work towards and enter for RAD exams (at the discretion of the teacher), and also have the chance to participate in annual progress shows. RAD exams are recognised by national qualifications regulators of the UK, and carry UCAS tariff towards university applications. 

 

In 2018 tap classes were introduced to the timetable, offering a fast-paced high energy form of dance that not only is great fun but also develops rhythm, timing and co-ordination!

In 2023, lyrical classes were added to enhance our ballet training. This hugely popular style of dancing  is a combination of ballet, jazz, acro and modern dance that often uses music with lyrics to inspire the movement of the dancer.
